Check a Public URL for Index Visibility

Enter a public page URL to run an index-status check. The result can help you investigate whether the URL appears to be discoverable through the method used by this tool.

This is a diagnostic signal, not a replacement for Google Search Console. If you own or manage the website, use Search Console’s URL Inspection features for the most detailed first-party information available to verified site owners.

How to Use This Tool

1. Enter the complete public URL, including https://.

2. Run the check.

3. Review the returned status and any supporting information shown by the tool.

What an “Indexed” or Visible Result Means

A positive result means the tool detected the URL using its current lookup method. It does not guarantee that the page will rank for a particular keyword, receive traffic or remain indexed permanently.

What a “Not Found” Result Can Mean

A page may be new, blocked from crawling, marked noindex, redirected, unavailable, canonicalized to another URL, or simply not detectable through this tool’s method. A negative result should therefore be investigated rather than treated as conclusive proof.

For Sites You Own

Check the URL in Google Search Console, confirm that the page returns a normal HTTP response, review robots.txt and noindex directives, inspect the canonical URL, and make sure the page is linked from useful parts of your website.

Data Source and Limitation
